Volunteer

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

The Grove Church believes that the people of God are called to participate in the work of the Kingdom. None of us were meant to be spectators while paid staff accomplish the mission of God, but instead all of us are intended to utilize the way God has wired us to build the Church and the Kingdom of God.

Serve in our church

Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.

There are a variety of ways to serve The Grove both on Sunday mornings and outside of Sunday morning. Please fill out the following survey on how you might be looking to serve, and someone will follow up with you by connecting you to the appropriate person.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

You can pursue volunteering by either filling out the online form or talking to someone in person on a Sunday morning. Once we are aware of your desire to serve, a meeting will be setup with someone in leadership to determine if it would be a good fit for you to volunteer. After the meeting, you will be connected with the appropriate ministry team leader and worked in the volunteering schedule. You can expect to serve at least one Sunday a month, unless you indicate otherwise.

How do I volunteer with kids?

Background checks are required for working with children to ensure the safety of our kids. The process is the same for volunteering besides the requirement of a background check. If you indicate an interest in working with children and the leadership of The Grove feels this would be a good fit, you will be sent the background check form.

How do I volunteer with music?

To volunteer in the music ministry at The Grove, you will be expected to follow the general volunteering process as detailed in the "How do I volunteer?" section. Additionally, anyone interested in serving with music will be expected to demonstrate their musical competency to members of the worship team.
